Hongkong-Amoy Trade agreement: According to a Hongkong
broadcast, a trade agreement between Hongkong and Amey was signed in March and revised on July 1st. The agreement calls for the export from Hongkong of cotton yarn and cotton pie ce-goods, rubber-soled shoes, matches etc., in exchange for fruits and vegetables, native paper, Chinese sauce, soy and cooking oils, etc., from Aney. Goods to the value of 750,000 yon are to be exchanged over a period of four months commencing from July 1st. (Hongkong in Cantonese, 1130 GMT,' 31.68 m. and Domei in English, August 24th).
